At Bridge Communities, we don’t just house people. We help them achieve stability, grow their skills, and believe in themselves – so they can change their life trajectory.
Bridge Communities serves 100 families per year. Unlike many agencies, we stay nimble by strictly limiting our governmental funding. We select families committed to change. We provide not one but two years of transitional housing – so clients save more resources to invest in their futures. We recruit volunteer mentors who support clients weekly. We facilitate families’ access to needed services, at Bridge and in the community, so they can meet their developmental goals.
Our impact is profound:
- 92% of program families exit to permanent housing after two years.
- 86% never fall behind in rent again or catch up before negative action is taken.
- By reducing debt and achieving stable employment, our families raise their average annual income during their program – in 2023, the average increase was more than 50%.
