On Sleep Out Saturday (November 1st), hundreds of children, teens and adults will spend the night sleeping outside in tents, boxes, and cars or doubled up inside their homes without a bed to call their own, all to raise awareness about family homelessness and funds for Bridge Communities' Transitional Housing Program.
Your support has the power to change lives! With your help, Bridge Communities will transition over 100 families to self-sufficiency by working with community partners to provide mentoring, housing, and supportive services. Please give today to demonstrate your commitment to helping families facing homelessness build a bridge to a brighter future!

A personal message from
Johannes Favi
On November 1st, thousands of families in Illinois will lose their SNAP food benefits — a change that will leave many choosing between groceries or rent.
When food is gone, housing is next.
That’s why on Sleep Out Saturday, I’ll be spending the night outside in solidarity with families at risk of homelessness and raising funds for Bridge Communities, which provides housing and hope for families working to rebuild their lives.
The average cost of a hotel in Illinois is about $125 per night.
If just 10 friends donate $35, together we can cover a night of shelter for a family that has nowhere else to go.
Your support matters more than ever.
Please help me reach my goal by donating.
This November, as safety nets are being cut, let’s build bridges of compassion.
No one should lose both food and shelter in the same month.
