On Sleep Out Saturday (November 1st), hundreds of children, teens and adults will spend the night sleeping outside in tents, boxes, and cars or doubled up inside their homes without a bed to call their own, all to raise awareness about family homelessness and funds for Bridge Communities' Transitional Housing Program.
Your support has the power to change lives! With your help, Bridge Communities will transition over 100 families to self-sufficiency by working with community partners to provide mentoring, housing, and supportive services. Please give today to demonstrate your commitment to helping families facing homelessness build a bridge to a brighter future!

On November1, I’ll be sleeping outside for one night — not to simulate homelessness, but to stand in solidarity with families who are facing it every day. No child should have to wonder where they’ll sleep at night, and no parent should have to choose between paying rent and buying groceries. Yet, that’s the reality for far too many families in our community. By sleeping out, I’m raising awareness and critical funds to support Bridge Communities in our mission to help families facing homelessness have homes and hope for a better future.
While one night outside won’t come close to what these families endure, it’s one small way I can help shine a light on their struggles — and be part of the solution. Please consider supporting my Sleep Out. Every donation helps provide hope and transformational change for our families.
Sincerely, Kristin Short
