2,204 calls from persons in a housing crisis

Housing:

99,060 housing nights provided

Location of Transitional Housing Program buildings: Addison, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Westmont, and Woodridge

Employment:

80 clients worked with employment services

13 clients completed Career Vision skill assessment testing

23 clients received employment training at in-house job readiness training

78 full-time positions were landed by clients

30 part-time positions were landed by clients

Adult Education:

2 clients received college degrees

7 clients earned professional certifications or graduated from vocational training

39 clients enrolled in college or vocational training classes

10 clients enrolled in ELL and/or GED classes

24 adults received tutoring services and assessments

Children's Program:

149 children received holistic educational, meantal and physical health assessments

43 children received tutoring services

34 tutors

6 pre-schoolers received Early Childhood Assessments

2 college scholarships awarded to high school seniors

44 summer camp and activities scholarships awarded

Bridge Communities is a program that transforms lives of homeless families.  Surveys completed in 2015 show that, one year after graduating from the Bridge program:

  • 100% of graduates maintained stable housing
  • 94% of graduates maintained stable employment
