Make a Gift

Transform the Life of a Family Experiencing Homelessness

Financial gifts to support client families in the Bridge Communities Transitional Housing Program go to work on six levels to provide:

  • safe, affordable housing
  • life-skills mentoring
  • financial management skills
  • employment counseling and coaching
  • donated cars to use for work and child care
  • children's services and tutoring

Ways to Give

  1. Give online using a MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express card
  2. Mail a check to Bridge Communities: 505 Crescent Blvd., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137
  3. Join our Circle of Hope recurring giving program with a monthly or quarterly gift. You'll maximize your charitable giving by providing ongoing support for families as they build a strong foundation for a self-sufficient future.
  4. The options are yours: Click here to read about how you can make a gift through a donor-advised fund, IRA charitable rollover, gift of appreciated securities, or charitable gift annuity.
  5. The donation of securities is easy through Bridge's partnership with the Northern Trust Bank.
  6. Adopt a child through our Child Sponsorship Program that provides funding for one year of tutoring and mentoring for a school-age child.  Tutoring costs are $1,500 per school year.  You can give the gift of tutoring and educational advancement to a homeless child.
  7. Pay tribute to someone special by donating a gift in their honor or memorialize a special friend or family member with a memorial gift.  Donate online and indicate your special intentions.  We will acknowledge your gift to the specified individual or family.
  8. The corporation or business where you work (or worked, if you have retired) may offer a corporate matching gift program that will match your contribution.  This is an easy way to double, or even triple, your donation to Bridge Communities.  Inquire with your human resource department to find out about a matching gift program.
