Bridge Builders

Founded in 2002 by local residents that take a hands-on approach to enhancing the lives of Bridge Communities' client families, particularly the lives of the children in the Transitional Housing program.  The Bridge Builders host family focused activities and fund-raising events to raise funds for the Auto Donation program, college scholarships, extra-curricular children's activities and women's programs.

A Year in Review

Bridge Communities has helped nearly 450 families cross the bridge from homlessness to self sufficiency and permanent housing.  In 1999, Bridge began to survey client families one-year after they exited the two-year Transitional Housing program.  146 former client families, who have successfully completed the Program, have replied to the self-reporting survey.
