A personal message from Kim Yates
So, this is my fourth year being a Sleep Out Star. What has that meant for the last three years? Well, it has basically meant sending out an email to my friends and family to donate to a cause that I am very passionate about - Sleep Out Saturday and Bridge Communities. I have received great support for the last three years but haven't felt that I have really contributed as much as I could to supporting this cause. So, for this year, I (or should I say we) have decided to step it up a notch. My 4-year old daughter, Marin, and I have decided to actually sleep out this year to support Bridge! Marin is super excited (we will see how she feels after sleeping in the cold November weather) but I really felt this was the right next step to experiencing, and supporting, the plight of the wonderful families in Bridge's programs. I hope that you will show your support for this wonderful cause. I'll be posting pictures of our experience after the event. Thanks again for your help!
Sincerely,
Kim Yates
