Bridge Communities Two-Day Initial Mentor Training


Dates for upcoming training sessions are posted as soon as they are available.  To keep up-to-date on when the next mentor training will be available, please sign up for Bridge's email newsletter.
As a continuing component of our service to our Program Partners, Bridge Communities schedules mentor training two times per year - once in the spring and again in the fall.  Mentor training is required before assignment to work with a client family.  Classes are held from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays.  

Dates: Saturdays, February 22 and March 8, 2014
Time: 8:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (lunch will be provided)

Mentor University

Continuing Education for Bridge Communities’ Mentors


Mentors are critical to the success of our client families, and Bridge aims to provide mentors with all the support and education needed to guide client families to success. Toward that end, Bridge Communities offers Mentor University, a series of workshops designed to build and strengthen key skills used in mentoring.

In 2014, Bridge is offering the “Financial Fitness” track of Mentor University workshops, designed for both mentors and clients to attend together. These financial literacy classes teach clients and mentors how to work together to solve financial challenges.
